Jason had been in the boating industry for 35 years. Jason started his career in the boating industry with the Navy and found the service side of operations to be the most natural fit for him. His expert areas are vessel maintenance, crane operation, and logistics. Jason’s favorite part about the boating industry is meeting and assisting customers. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, ATVing, and relaxing by the pool.

Tasha brings a wealth of experience in sales and customer service to her role in the boating industry. Although she is relatively new to this field, she’s injecting her passion for boating and leveraging her expertise in customer experience to embark on this exciting new career journey. One of the aspects Tasha enjoys most about her job is the opportunity it provides to learn from her experienced colleagues and to connect with a diverse range of customers. Her enthusiasm for continuous learning and building relationships adds a vibrant energy to her professional approach. Outside of work, Tasha’s hobbies are as varied as her skill set. She enjoys boating, kayaking, hiking, and indulges her creative side by crafting jewelry with polymer clay. When it comes to her personal preferences, Tasha has a fondness for the film “Rocky” and the music of Dire Straits. On the home front, Tasha is accompanied by two pets who add joy to her life. Penny the cat and Howie the dog are described as both crazy and adorable, bringing a touch of liveliness to Tasha’s daily routine. Together, her professional journey and personal interests create a well-rounded picture of Tasha’s vibrant personality.

Frank boasts an impressive 50 years of experience in the boat business, and as he looks ahead to his 51st year, it’s evident that his journey began in high school at a local sporting goods and boat dealership. Over the years, Frank has honed his skills and knowledge, particularly in the realm of electronics, having received training in Humminbird, Lowrance, and Garmin systems.

Specializing in rig planning and installations on walleye boats, Frank finds immense satisfaction in bringing to life the “dream rigs” of fellow enthusiasts, ensuring they are well-equipped for a successful and enjoyable time on the water, especially when it comes to the pursuit of catching fish.

Beyond the boat business, Frank’s hobbies include hunting, hiking, and fishing, with a particular passion for fly fishing on the wild rivers out west. It’s not just about the catch for Frank; it’s about the experience and the connection with nature.

When it comes to culinary preferences, Frank’s favorite food is as adventurous as his outdoor pursuits. He relishes cutthroat trout cooked over a campfire. This passion for both work and recreation paints a vivid picture of Frank’s dedication to the boating industry and his love for the great outdoors.

With over 25 years of extensive experience in the retail industry, Craig has served as Owner/GM of HD Dealerships for over 15 years, where his responsibilities included overseeing Fixed Operations, Finance/Insurance, Sales, and actively engaging in creative problem-solving. Embracing each day as a new adventure, Craig enjoys the dynamic aspects of meeting new customers regularly. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in riding HD motorcycles, indulging in fishing and golfing, and cherishing quality time with his wife and son. Craig’s diverse interests extend to enjoying films such as “Less than Zero,” music from the band Shinedown, and a particular fondness for BBQ when it comes to food. Adding to the richness of his life, he shares his home with two beloved dogs.

With 20 years in the marine industry, Tom has extensive experience ranging from rentals, service, and sales, including three years with The Boat House. His love for boating and passion for the lifestyle are what led him to the industry. Tom has seven years of working sales experience, and his expert areas include sales, building relationships, communication, and team playing. He loves finding the perfect boat for each person that fits their needs and lifestyle. When he’s not working, Tom enjoys boating, golf, watching football, and maintaining a saltwater aquarium. His favorite film is Happy Gilmore, he enjoys the band Stick Figure, and his favorite food is blackened grouper. Tom is a proud pet owner of a dog named Journey. He is a dedicated husband and proud father.

Jeremy Eck spent nine years with The Boat House and he grew up with boating, fishing, and diving as integral parts of his life. His passion for the marine lifestyle is what drove him to create a career in the industry. Jeremy graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Business degree and has experience with boats ranging from 13 to 70 feet. He is well-versed in electrical systems and fishing accessories on a boat. His expert areas include sales, leadership, interpersonal communication, and community building. Jeremy’s favorite part of his job is working with like-minded individuals who share a passion for the industry and clients who enjoy boating as their lifestyle and passion. His hobbies include fishing, spear fishing, golf, and spending time on the water with friends and family. He loves listening to Jimmy Buffet, eating hog fish, and watching the movie, Captain Ron. He is a proud pet owner of two dogs named Tortuga and Kona.

With an impressive 35 years of experience in the industry, Bill F. brings a wealth of knowledge to The Boat House. His love for water is what drew him to the industry. Throughout his career, he has worn multiple hats – from rigging, parts, service, and sales during college to dabbling with boat racing, and being a service manager in Seattle while still boat racing. After starting his own business in marine restoration, he joined The Boat House 7 years ago, initially as the rigging department manager, and now in sales for 4 years.

Bill studied communication and marketing in college and has Lean working experience. He is proficient in operations, communication, and technical skills. Apart from work, Bill loves being on or around boats on the water and his hobbies include boating and automobiles. He enjoys watching “American Pie,” listening to Linkin Park, and eating seafood.

Mark Caglioti, our Boat Club Manager, began his career in the industry while growing up on the water in SWFL. He has experience driving boats of all sizes and styles and operating multiple marina fork trucks. He started as a dock hand at The Boat House of Cape Coral and has since climbed the ranks over the two and a half years he’s been with us. He’s had a supervisory role over a multi-person team, leading them to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and efficiency in employee performance.

Mark loves working on the water and collaborating with a qualified team. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and all aspects of boating in SWFL. His favorite film is “Jaws,” his favorite band is the Zac Brown Band, and he enjoys Italian and BBQ foods. He shares his home with two dogs, Fred and Brodie.

Eric Lundgren, our VP of Sales, has an impressive 26 years of experience in the industry. He entered the boating business not as a professional but as a boating enthusiast. His passion for boating and impressive sales skills made him a prime candidate for a sales position, propelling him into his career. Eric holds a BA in Airway Science and Aircraft Systems, with a minor in Business Management. His expertise lies in sales and communication.

What he loves most about his job is the chance to deliver people’s dreams and the lifestyle that initially brought him into boating. Outside of work, Eric’s hobbies include boating, golf, and automobiles. He’s a fan of the film “Top Gun,” enjoys a variety of music, and appreciates fine cuisine. Unfortunately, he does not own any pets.

Sue Lodel, our Parts Manager, boasts an impressive 45 years of experience in the Marine Industry. Sue’s journey began in 1978, working for her parents’ business, Twin Cities Marine Inc., where she handled various tasks, from cleaning to parts inventory and sales. With no other career direction presenting itself, she chose to stay in the industry.

Sue has extensive knowledge in parts and customer service, specifically related to Boston Whaler boats (from 1958 to the present), as well as Mercury and Yamaha engines. She enjoys building relationships with customers and provides well-informed information for their decision-making processes. She finds great satisfaction in assisting customers and enhancing their boat ownership experience.

In terms of personal life, Sue’s faith is of utmost importance to her. She enjoys playing the piano by ear, being involved with her church worship team, and being on the water with her 190 Montauk Boston Whaler. She also owns a camper, which she thoroughly enjoys. Her favorite treat is chocolate. Sue has been married for 38 years and is a proud mother and grandmother.

Mark Matson, our Sales Manager, has spent a decade living and working in northern Door County, entirely in the boating industry. He joined his brother’s boating business in 2013 and relocated to Sister Bay with his wife, Toby, and their four children. Mark loves exploring the islands, harbors, and beaches of northern Door County on his Boston Whaler and assisting customers in conducting thorough research to make the right boat purchase.

James brings an impressive 21 years of extensive experience to the boating industry, showcasing a versatile skill set that spans from the construction of wooden boats to repair, sales, and management. His passion for boating, initially ignited during a summer job, has seamlessly evolved into a fulfilling career.

James’s expertise extends to being MerCruiser and Volvo trained in service, as well as possessing business and sales training from industry leaders like Spader, Parker, and Creek. He excels in various facets of the industry, including comprehensive boat service, sales product knowledge, and effective marina management. James takes pride in his ability to match families with the perfect boat, ensuring memorable and enjoyable experiences on the water.

Beyond the professional realm, James finds joy in recreational activities such as boating (with a collection of three boats), snowmobiling, and woodworking, often sharing these adventures with his 8-year-old daughter. His interests also extend to savoring bourbon, mastering the art of grilling, and the companionship of Olie, his 2-year-old Ausiedoodle. James’s enthusiasm is not just limited to a job – he genuinely revels in the positive impact his work has on families, making it feel like he gets paid to play with boats.

Dalton Waldeck, our Sales Manager, has been surrounded by water for most of his life. From a young age, Dalton raced sailboats across the country and ran a waterski school on Lake Delavan. After graduating from Denison University and spending several years at The Chicago Board of Trade, he returned to Lake Geneva in 2002.

Drawn to the lifestyle he grew up around, Dalton started with Summerset Marine, working both in Sales and Service. As the area’s newest MasterCraft Dealer, he worked tirelessly to establish brand identity and expose others to what inboard boats offered. After Summerset Marine was acquired by Gage Marine in 2008, he remained as sales manager.

In 2013, he brought his love for inboard boats to The Boat House Group, representing the esteemed Nautique inboard line. You’ll often find Dalton on Geneva Lake, introducing both seasoned and new boaters to what the inboard industry has to offer.

Mike Trainor, our dedicated Boat Club Manager, comes from a background deeply entrenched in water safety, boating, and community service. Born as the fourth child in a family of nine, Mike graduated from St. Norbert College, Wisconsin, and found his love for Geneva Lake early on when his family bought a summer place in Abbey Springs, Fontana, WI in 1978.

With a history in organized sports, he quickly shifted to swimming and became a lifeguard and swimming instructor. He has spent many years serving the Water Safety Patrol, teaching boat safety, and providing boat driving lessons for all ages. His three-decade-long career has seen him selling boats for Gordy’s Marine, serving as the Vice President and General Manager of Gage Marine, and now pioneering the Boat House Group’s Boat Club.

Aside from his passion for working near the water, Mike also enjoys working part-time for a Meeting Planning Company, enabling him to travel throughout the U.S and many Caribbean islands during the winter. Mike is an active community contributor, having founded several charity drives and served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll find him at his bar, “Kimkasi Pub” in Fontana, WI. He shares his life with his kindest partner, “Princess Mary”, and their Red & Yellow lab, “Shaeleigh”.

With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Travis’s journey has been driven by a profound passion for powersports and boating. Over the course of his career, he successfully owned and operated a specialty motorcycle shop for five years, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of the field. Additionally, Travis contributed his expertise as a service advisor at a dealership, where he honed his skills in customer service, adeptly diagnosed mechanical issues, and exhibited strong team leadership qualities. Travis’s extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in marine and powersport mechanics have made him an expert in the field. What Travis finds most rewarding about his job is the opportunity to work with boats, enabling people to enjoy their time on the water. Beyond the professional realm, his interests extend to lakeside enjoyment during the summers and thrilling snowboarding adventures in the winter. Fueling his diverse passions, he is also an avid cook and shares his home with the delightful companionship of a dog named Karen and a cat named Duke.

Dick Heckel is our seasoned Sales Manager, boasting a career in the industry since 1990. He owned his own marina in Eagle River from 1990-2008, before moving to the lake country area and joining the Boat House team. An avid bass fisherman, Dick graduated with a premed Biology degree and has owned his own business since 1990. His specialty lies in sales, relishing in the joy of seeing customers’ faces light up upon delivery of their perfect boat. When not working, Dick enjoys fishing, surfing, pontooning, and hunting. A steak enthusiast, he also shares his life with five dogs, including three hunting dogs.

Dan Adams is our Service Manager and a lifelong boater, taught by his father who was a boating safety instructor. His passion for boating led him to leave his previous career in education to join our team. With expertise in inboard boats, he enjoys working with the team and satisfying our customers. Outside of work, Dan loves boating, sports, and spending time with his family. He’s a fan of Iration revolution, burritos, and margaritas. He has a wife and two kids.

Amy Serafin, our beloved Marina Coordinator, is a dedicated wife and mother of four, including a dog and three cats. She has a deep love for boating, enjoying quality time with family and friends, and frequently traveling to and from Florida. As a Board member of the Chain O’ Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Amy is heavily involved in community service and contributes immensely to the well-being of our local area.

Amy is a wife and mom of 4 to include a love for animals a dog, and 3 cats. Amy loves boating, spending time with family & friends and traveling to and from Florida often. Amy is a Board member of the Chain O’ Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Don Schnurr is our seasoned General Manager, having worked professionally in the watersports industry his entire adult life. Moving from Iowa to Arizona in 2000, Don has honed his skills working with some of the industry’s best people and mentors. He joined the Boat House family in 2009, finding an ideal balance between his personal and professional life. Raised around boats in north central Iowa, he is passionate about boating and enjoys engaging with customers who share this love. When not working, Don relishes in boating activities with his wife and two kids, and loves restoring older boats. His prized possession is a 1946 Chris Craft, once owned by his late father. His all-time favorite pastime is watching old-school war movies with a glass of cold milk and air-popped popcorn.

Michael Dougherty, our Service Manager, began his journey with The Boat House in June 2019, getting hooked on boats after moving to his friend’s lake house in Lauderdale Lakes. His expertise lies in all things inboards, and he enjoys the camaraderie with his colleagues at work and the constant proximity to boats. Outside of work, Michael is into basketball, weightlifting, and wake surfing. He’s an avid fan of Chipotle burritos, and shares his home with two lovely Labs, Yuno and Nova.

Travis Quass, our seasoned Sales Manager, boasts 21 years of experience in boat sales with certifications in Nautique, Supra, and Moomba. Travis is driven by customer and employee satisfaction, appreciating the family-like feel of our dealership. When not working, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and attending various sports games and events. He’s a fan of ‘Italian Job’ and Pearl Jam, and he loves indulging in Crab Legs. While he does not own any pets, he is a proud ‘uncle’ to many dogs.

With more than four decades of experience in the marine industry, Christine Froelich, our General Manager, brings a wealth of knowledge to The Boat House. Christine’s journey in the marine business began when she started working for her family’s business, Twin Cities Marine. Despite her parents’ retirement, she stayed in the marine industry, continuing her career with Beacon Marine and, most recently, The Boat House.

As General Manager, Christine utilizes her extensive industry experience to build an award-winning dealership that brings value to both customers and her team. She has played a pivotal role in creating an excellent sales and service foundation, establishing the business as a leading Boston Whaler dealership in the U.S. Her responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing the sales and service operations. Her proven leadership skills in customer relations, the sales process, and business development make her a significant asset to The Boat House.

Christine resides with her husband, Jeff, and their yellow lab, Journey. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, boating, and fly fishing. She is a proud mother of two successful daughters, Katherine and Nicole.

In terms of education and professional affiliations, Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, is a member of Vistage (the world’s largest CEO organization), and is a graduate of the Spader Leadership program. Joe Bishoff joined our team several years ago as a Business Manager in Lauderdale Lakes and is now our dedicated Store Manager. With a degree in Exercise Science and Business Management, Joe specializes in customer service, greatly enjoying sharing his personal experiences of life on the water with our customers. In his free time, he cherishes moments with his family in the Northwoods and on Lake Delavan and loves the thrill of snowmobiling. His favorite movie is ‘The Town’, he enjoys the music of Kip Moore, and loves Surf and Turf. He also shares his life with two Labs, Maverick and Shandy.
