THE BOAT HOUSE CHICAGO INVITES YOU TO JOIN US FOR OUR FIRST ANNUAL POKER CHIP RUN!

Ever heard of the poker run in the winter? The Boat House is here to bring it to you during the summer! The Boat House is running our first annual Poker Chip Run through the Chain Of Lakes! The registration is from 8-9 AM on our boat dock where you will receive a free tote bag filled with goodies, then taking off with a Boat House pace boat to lead to El Puerto and The Sandbar at 9 am.

The rules are simple. You must visit five of our checkpoints where you will draw a single card at each of them to build your poker chip “hand.” The objective is to gather 3 chips at each checkpoint by the end of the run. We have created a unique route to each stop that will take 2-4 hours to complete. Winning is simply by a matter of chance.

There is a fee to play. Part of this fee goes to funding the event including the prizes, while the rest will go to the United Way of Greater Mchenry County. Each boat will register via The Boat House Eventbrite page, where each boat will purchase a $75 ticket with a $10 additional add-on fee.

The $75 includes 1 wristband. This grants one person per $75 entry eligible after announcements at 1 pm, 10% off one final bill at any of the participating bars.
