Shake the Lake: A two-day, boat-in music festival fundraiser presented by The Boat House

[JOHNSBURG, IL, JULY 23-24, 2021]  Tomorrow, Pistakee Lake will shake as a brand new, two-day, boat-in, music festival fundraiser, “Shake the Lake,” makes its debut. Thousands of boaters from all throughout the Chain O’ Lakes and Fox River will come together over their shared passion for music and boating in support of the Fox Waterway Clean Water Initiative.

Attending boaters will tie-up and drop anchor just offshore in front of The Boat House Chicago to enjoy 2 days of live music featuring some of the hottest local bands playing everyone’s favorite rock, country, and pop hits. With a killer lineup, professional staging, sound, and lighting, Shake the Lake is shaping up to be the biggest event of the year on the Fox Chain O’ Lakes and it’s all for a cause every boater can get behind.

“As a boating community, we all share a common bond over our love for the Fox and the family memories we’ve made on this waterway,” said GM Don Schnurr II. “We hope Shake the Lake will be a great first step towards ensuring future generations get to share those memories too.”
