The Boat House Announces The Grand Opening of our new Indoor Showroom in Manitowoc, WI

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Boat House of Manitowoc, the newest addition to The Boat House Group’s marine dealership. This new location has been a long time in the making, with a fascinating story behind it. In 2015, Jim Matson, owner of Beacon Marine, purchased the Howarth family business and continued operations in Two Rivers with Al’s daughters, Christine Froelich and Sue Lodel. As the business grew, it became apparent that a larger and more modern space was needed to accommodate both the sales operation and service. After several attempts to relocate within Two Rivers with no success, the JJ Antique Mall on US 10 & I-43 came up for sale due to the retirement of the owners, Ron, and Sheri. In late 2021, the sale was finalized, and work began in earnest on transforming the antique mall into a stunning boat showroom. With the help of our friend Chris Herzog at ACE Building Service in Manitowoc, Beacon was able to begin the move in October of 2022.

Now, after the Beacon/Boat House merger in late 2022, we are delighted to show everyone our brand-new location, The Boat House Manitowoc. Our expanded showroom features state-of-the-art equipment, modern amenities, and an unparalleled selection of premium boats, including Boston Whaler, Grady White, and Cobalt Boats.
